「TreeSize Free」は、指定したフォルダーをスキャンして、その中にあるファイルやフォルダーを占有率の多い順にツリー表示してくれるツール。「Master File Table」（MFT）と呼ばれるファイルシステムのメタ情報を走査する仕組みになっており、同種のツールよりも高速に動作するのが特徴だ。また、二次元平面を入れ子状に分割して木構造のデータを可視化する「ツリーマップ」にも対応。分割領域の面積でサイズが表されているので占有率を視覚的に把握しやすい。

Noteworthy changes / Bug fixes
- TreeSize Free now allows you to run updates from within the app. This means that new versions do not have to be downloaded and installed manually.
- Fixed a bug that prevented the main window from being set smaller than the default size.
- In rare cases, an error could occur when displaying popups. This has been fixed.
